Extracurriculars & Enrichment
Students are inspired and challenged to experiment, take creative risks, innovate and find their own voice through participation in diverse enrichment activities, enhancing their mental and social development, interpersonal and social skills, self-esteem and confidence. They have opportunities to sing, play, perform, create, code or compete.
We try, we fail, we rise, we shine – we believe that our enrichment activities are integral to learning here

Enjoying every moment of school
At Regent, we have developed a curriculum of MultiSmart Learning, which can be tailored to stimulate and engage all kinds of minds. Our curriculum naturally offers a range of extension opportunities for Big Thinkers and Dreamers, who demonstrate an exceptional aptitude for one or more areas of learning.
Regent offers over 60 extracurricular activities (which besides sports also include the World Scholar’s Cup, Model UN, our Performing Arts Academy and much more) to suit the interests of every child and develop their personality and character strengths (like perseverance, leadership and teamwork).
Additionally, we offer lunchtime Enrichment Clubs, as well as a wide range of extracurricular activities and competitive opportunities to challenge our students further.
Art & Design is a key part of our educational offering because it encourages student learning and development, fosters creative thinking, and nurtures a heightened sensitivity and appreciation of life.
Art, artistic flair, and creative thinking are present in all facets of life from the home, school, industry, social networks and relationships. Regent’s art curriculum gives students the opportunity to develop their artistic and creative skills and explore a range of media.
We provide a supportive and structured environment so students are able to interpret and articulate the subtle nuances of the language of Art, understand and appreciate different contexts, cultures and traditions, and develop their own creative voice.
Dance and Movement is a key part of our curriculum and dovetails with our Music and Drama programme. Regent has a large and impressive dance studio with teachers who nurture students who wish to develop their talent and skills in this area.
Music plays a key role in our school’s holistic approach to education as it promotes creative expression, cognitive development and creativity. Teachers weave Music across the entire curriculum and all year groups.
All students are encouraged to learn an instrument of their choice. Gifted students who wish to consider Music as a choice of higher study and or profession is encouraged.
Regent has an Academy for the Performing Arts (RISSPAA) which provides students varied opportunities to learn a variety of musical instruments and skills, develop an appreciation of music, enhance their creativity, and have fun. Regent has a talented team of qualified and professional music teachers. Whatever the student’s goal, whether it is to prepare for the Trinity or ABRSM Music exams, learn an instrument or just have fun jamming in a band, the Academy for the Performing Arts is there to fulfil it.
We take students to various festivals and events held locally in Dubai to enrich their learning and broaden their horizons. The festivals and events range from the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, Art Dubai, Dubai Design District, Dubai Museum, Dubai Fitness Fest, Dubai Opera and many others.
All students are encouraged to participate in at least one sport of their choice. In addition, gifted and talented students are invited to apply to our sports squads in Football, Swimming, Netball and Basketball. Regent participates in a number of sports leagues and is a member of the Dubai Affiliated School Sports Association (“DASSA”), a well-established body that organises leagues and tournaments for schools in Dubai throughout the year. In addition, we play friendly matches with other schools which have competitive squads. We typically schedule games after school hours during the week, and on weekends to make it easier for parents to come and watch. Our students often train before and after school hours on weekdays and weekends for the competitions.

We strongly believe in providing all students the opportunity to access, experience and contribute to various aspects of the creative process from script to stage. This can take the form of extracurricular activities, trips and workshops as well as getting involved in whole-school productions either as performers or backstage crew. Regent is renowned for our theatre productions and we consistently draw a full house. Every year, our productions get more and more ambitious and a large portion of the student body is involved.
There are 60+ clubs serving the Regent community.
