Ms. Natalie Waterman
Deputy Head of Key Stage 2 & 3
I am currently in my 12th year at Regent International School. I have been extremely privileged to have had a wide range of experience at the school, taking up leadership roles from EYFS all the way up to Year 9. I am extremely passionate about education and have almost 20 years of teaching experience in England and Dubai. I strongly believe that all lessons should always be taught in context with a real-life outcome and should be tailored towards children’s passions and interests. I enjoy working alongside teachers to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to master each subject at his or her own level through a personalized approach to learning. I am a true believer that a lifelong love of learning is instilled at primary school level and that every pupil who comes into Regent School, should receive the best possible experience in all aspects of school life. Education works best when we support the whole child to grow. Interests and passions should be nurtured, and children should be encouraged to take risks and to try new things outside of their comfort zone. The teachers I work with at Regent also believe this and provide an environment that inspires and motivates children to be independent thinkers. I look forward to working with the children and teachers at Regent this year, focusing on raising standards and enhancing the experiences of our pupils.
