Assistant Head - Inclusion

Mrs. Mitchell-Holness is entering her 21st year of teaching. She has worked in schools across London, for 15 years, where she has mastered her craft and developed outstanding teaching practices. She decided to venture out into international teaching and is starting her 6th year of teaching and leadership in the UAE.

Mrs. Mitchell-Holness is passionate about inclusive education and has worked as a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) early in her career and as an Assistant Headteacher, responsible for Inclusion, for the past 13 years. She believes that each child should be given equal opportunities and equity of access in order to meet their full potential. She has dedicated her career to ensuring that adequate and effective support is in place, to meet the needs of all students, within the school.

Mrs. Mitchell-Holness gained her Bachelors in Education (BEd.), with QTS at Canterbury Christ Church University. She went on to complete her Masters in Education (MEd), in Leadership, Management and Change at St. Mary’s Twickenham University. She is also a qualified Specialist Assessor, holding the CPT3A qualification, as well as a Diploma in Counselling.

Having joined Regent International, 3yrs ago, she is really looking forward to working in continuous partnership with staff and parents, to ensure that all students reach their full potential and feel happy and safe in school.
