Sanjay Mankani sets the vision and template for growth and innovation at Fortes Education Group. Before starting Fortes Education, he worked for several years in New York in investment banking at Lazard Freres & Co., on Wall Street, in the fields of Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance and Institutional Leasing. 

After a high-profile career as an investment banker, Sanjay left the US to pursue entrepreneurial dreams in Moscow, Baku, and Dubai, where he established various entrepreneurial ventures. His most remarkable contribution was in the field of education in Dubai which enabled him to make a real difference in society. Under his guidance, Sunmarke School, Regent International School and Jumeirah International Nurseries have grown to become centres of educational excellence in the city. 

His leadership has led Fortes Education to be known as an organisation that builds and operates truly exceptional schools and preschools which inspire, empower, and enlighten students and enrich the communities that they are a part of. 

He completed his education in the US with a double degree in Finance and Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. A committed family man, Sanjay enjoys yoga and meditation in his free time and is an ardent reader of diverse subjects from politics to philosophy, technology, education and more.
