Mr. Jan Stipek has been an international school educator since 1998, having held a number of teaching and leadership positions at schools in Europe and Asia. After close to a decade of teaching and middle level leadership posts in China, Singapore and Italy, Jan was appointed a Curriculum Manager and eventually Head of Global Professional Development for IB Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme at the International Baccalaureate (IB) Global Center in The Hague in 2011. In this role he led curriculum development and ongoing professional development on a global scale, visiting schools in a number of different countries and understanding the different contexts in which international schools operate, while at the same time closely collaborating with a range of education and non-education stakeholders in a global, non-for-profit organisation.
