Encouraging a Love for the Arts
Music is critical for cognitive and creative development and is fully embedded into every aspect of school life at Regent. Our Key Stage 1 (Year 1 & 2) aspire to see all our students as musicians, equipping them with not only musical skills, but also the creativity, critical thinking, perseverance and confidence. Our students follow a dynamic programme built upon activities such as: singing, movement, instrumental learning, performing, composing and ensemble performances.
The Creative and Performing Arts are an integral part of life at Regent with numerous opportunities to perform throughout the year in class and school assemblies, school festivals and celebrations, creativity mornings and school choirs. Many students join our Performing Art groups (much like squads in sports) who are coached through our after-school programme giving students the opportunity to develop their performance, talents and skills.
