Challenging, supporting and encouraging
Whilst academic learning is crucial, the holistic approach to developing a child’s character, values and moral compass is at the core of everything we do. We strive to give young people opportunities to explore and discover the world around them, thinking critically and forming opinions whilst having an increasing ownership of their own learning.
At Regent International School children have access to a broad curriculum, with specialist teachers for Arabic, French, Computing, Music, PE and Swimming. This also means that we can offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities led by specialist teachers that all children have access to on a weekly basis.
Children learn to investigate and hypothesize rather than recall scientific facts. They learn how to research, interpret and develop historical enquiry skills rather than merely learning to recite dates. We understand that the children of today, are the adults of tomorrow – and the world they need to prepare for has many unknowns. But, through our commitment to Positive Education, our use of critical thinking strategies and rigorous curriculum – we believe that our children will be able to thrive, despite any challenges they may face.
