Approach - Regent International School | British Curriculum | Best School in Dubai
Finding Reason and Purpose
A Personalised Education for each Child

In the Foundation Stage, we offer a personalised education for each child by delivering an outstanding curriculum which centres around each child’s passions, interests and needs. Children need a reason and a purpose to learn. Hence, our lessons are based around real-life outcomes and achievements. For example, when teaching children to write we do not just practise letter-writing, but instead encourage children to write letters asking to go on trips, or write advertisements for shows they have created or write “wanted posters” for lost toys. In this way, children are fully engaged in their learning and applying skills that they have learnt in lessons.

We do not just judge children on academics but on how they progress holistically. Each child has an individual target based on something that they want to achieve whether it’s performing a dance in front of the class, learning to paint or throwing a basketball into a hoop. This empowers young children to see they can achieve goals they have set themselves, a powerful learning for our young learners. This approach combined with our Positive Education philosophy ensures that children learn how to progress and assess their individual character strengths as they face challenges both inside and out of the classroom.

KHDA Report

My role model is Elon Musk and to become a tech entrepreneur.

Regent has given me the skills and confidence to get there. In a variety of STEAM & Project-based Learning projects, I have worked with classmates learning to code in Python and Java, build robotic vehicles, and construct IoT sensors. We have won multiple competitions in the UAE and abroad for our tech projects and talent. Remember my name because I promise you will hear a lot more about me.

Possibilities are infinite at Regent for a child.

There are no limits to let my child’s imagination grow at Regent. He has become extremely ambitious in his thinking and outlook and what he believes he can do, which is great. Children are encouraged to take chances, try anything and not be afraid.

The strong sense of community makes Regent more than just a great place for study.

It’s a great place for families to get to know each other and make new friends. The Regent community spirit is outstanding.
