Secondary students share their career plans – Abigail Birch, Year 12
I have always had an open mind about my future. As a child the expectancy of my future world changes each week as my mind is ambitious. However, since the beginning of sixth form, I have started to consider my options more seriously. After discovering my passion within the subject of economics I have narrowed my research to the social sciences, and continuously looked at what I would learn at university for a degree in Economics. Furthermore, outside school, I participate in many motorsport championships (nationally and internationally) and have grown a strong bond with the sport. I am positive that I will be involved with motorsport and its community in future, and possibly find a path which allows me to exploit my skills in both economics and sport.
