Extra-Curricular Activities

Regent International School offers a variety of Extra-Curricular Activities ("ECAs") after-school every term under two streams.  

• ECAs at RIS, run by RIS teachers, from 2.40pm to 3.30pm daily, every term.  Open to RIS Students only at no extra fee.

• More specialised ECAs, at RIS and at external venues, run by 3rd Party Specialists, (under our RISSPAA umbrella), from 2.40pm onwards, daily throughout the year. Open to RIS and Non-RIS Students and/or Adults. The fees for these programmes are charged separately from the RIS Tuition Fee.

Our ECA line-up offers programmes in individual or in group sessions in these broad areas:

• Academic - e.g. Booster Classes in certain subjects
• Sports
• Performing Arts & Cultural
• Art/Craft & Design & Media
• General Hobbies
• RIS Squads for participation in intramural leagues 

Our ECA line-up changes every term and depends on sufficient student interest, the availability of appropriate personnel, resources and facilities.

As part of our commitment to our international student population, we promote and offer where possible, Native Language Instruction, ("Mother Tongue Language"), after school hours for our student and the wider community, so as to provide opportunities for people to maintain and develop their respective cultures.

Parents are requested to be prompt in collecting their children at the end of an ECA, from the appropriate venues. Students who are collected late more than two times or do not follow the rules, will not be allowed to continue with their signed up ECAs. We make every effort to accommodate student preferences.
