Admission & Enrolment Procedures
Step 1: Enquiry
a. To request an appointment to view the school, please call 04 360 8830 Ext 100 / 101 / 116 or send an email request to registrar@risdubai.com.
During the tour, a school representative will show you the facilities highlighting areas of special interest to you and your child(ren).
We will answer your queries regarding documents required, availability of spaces, year/age level, fee structure and policy, etc.
We will issue you a School Brochure, Admission Information and Application Form. These forms can also be downloaded online.
Step 2: Application Submission
a. Parents must submit the completed and signed admission information together with a payment of non-refundable Registration Fee of Dhs500/- in order for an application to be processed and placed on our waitlist.
For parents who are out of the country, you can scan the completed application and send it as one PDF file to registrar@risdubai.com to start the process but please note that you are required to submit/courier the original Application Forms and replace the scanned/faxed application.
The following documents must be sent together with the Application Form:-

Copy of Sponsor’s Passport Student’s 6 Coloured Photos
The following documents can be submitted prior to start of class:-
NOTE: To ease the registration process, please ensure that you bring copies of the abovementioned documents requested as the school will not be able to photocopy your documents.
b. Once a space becomes available, our admission team will contact parents of students’ who are on the waitlist for an assessment. You will be required to pay the non-refundable Assessment Fee of Dhs500/-. This is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the assessment.
c. Foundation(FS1) and Reception(FS2) students will have for an informal assessment. Students entering Years 1 and up will be assessed in English and Maths.
Students having English as their Second language must be able to understand instructions and converse in English in order to pass the assessment.
d. Once a student passes the assessment, our Admission Team will contact you to formally offer the place and you will be required to pay the non-refundable acceptance and confirmation fee of Dhs.500/-. This fee is deducted from the Term’s Tuition Fee.
Step 3: Admission and Enrolment
a. Student enrolment is subject to approval from the UAE Ministry of Education.
b. Student year group placement will depend on the Transfer Certificate submitted to the Admission Office regardless of student’s age or the curriculum followed at the previous school.
Students who are entering Year 2 onwards must submit a Transfer Certificate. Please refer to Admission Information for details regarding Transfer Certificates.
